Kaginu

(1464-1536)

Okay, she's Kiryasha's older sister, she has white hair with some few black stripes here and there, (unlike Kiryasha, who has it straight gray) and an attitude that says Lady Kagome all over. This young 22-year-old is very sweet out of battle, but when action is mentioned, we're talking about Lord Inuyasha's fighting skills! Kaginu is very good with her bow and arrows, and the sword her father gifted her with, made by Totosai, the swordsmith that has worked for the Yasha demonic clan for hundreds of generations.

She was the one that always consoled her siblings by playing with them, trying to keep them away from the cruelty of the village in which they lived with their mother. Kaginu was the child that actually resembled Lady Kagome the most, even more than her human, younger sister, who is actually more similar to Izayoi, their grandmother. Kaginu had four children who are not mentioned so much in the story; the four of them are fathered by a whole wolf-demon named Ohake.

The oldest is six years old and her name is Kigana, the second is four and her name is Okira, the third is three and her name is Inakura, and the fourth is only one year old and his name is Inuhake. Unfortunately, Kaginu died when she tried to protect Kiryasha from Maraku by not telling the villain where her younger sister was when she asked for her location. Few days before her death, she got to know Kihaku and learned just how much sadness and unhappiness the poor girl was going through, so offered her her help.

However, Kihaku felt so guilty and unworthy of anyone's protection that she ran away. Kaginu still made the few and last of her sacred powers enter in Kihaku's Shikon Paper shard, so she could protect the girl after her death.
